Standard Safari Shifts
The park opens twice a day for tourists — early morning and late afternoon. The exact timings change depending on the season, aligning with sunrise and sunset. Each safari lasts approximately 3.5 hours.

Best Time to Visit
October to March: Pleasant weather, green landscape. Excellent for overall wildlife viewing and birding.
April to June: Hot and dry, but the sparse vegetation and drying waterholes make tiger sightings extremely frequent. Ideal for serious wildlife photographers.
Monsoon Closure
Ranthambore National Park (Core Zones 1-5) remains completely closed for visitors during the monsoon season from July 1st to September 30th every year. Buffer zones (6-10) may remain open subject to weather conditions.
